SSC MTS 2020 Notification: The Staff Service Commission is the responsible body for conduction the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) Exam. It is also known as SSC MTS Exam. Going by the SSC Exam Calendar, the SSC MTS 2020 registration was supposed to released from June 2 to July 15, 2020. But due to COVID-19 lock down and hindrance in the office work, the SSC MTS is going to release the notification in June 2020.
SSC MTS 2020 Notification
Every year lakhs of candidates appear for the SSC MTS Exam. In 2019, approximately 38 lakh candidates had appeared for the Exam. Tentative vacancies for MTS Exam 2020 are 7000. The best part of the MTS Exam is its eligibility criteria which is Matriculation pass or equivalent. Like the other govt exams, where the selection process is a two-stage process, MTS Exam is also no different. It involves the following two stages:
- Paper 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Paper 2: Descriptive Test
SSC MTS 2020 Notification will be released on June 2nd for which the registration begin from June 2 to July 15, 2020. SSC MTS 2020 Paper 1 will be conducted between October 26 to November 13, 2020 (tentative). The final MTS Exam Dates will be available with the release of official notification on June 2, 2020

Age Limit
A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age as on 01.08.2018. Apart from the mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.

Educational Qualification
- The candidates must have passed matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent examination from a recognized board as on August 1, 2020.
- In case a candidate does not pass the qualifying examination before the closing date of receipt of the application form, he or she is not permitted to apply.
SSC MTS Selection Process
The SSC MTS Selection Process is a two stage procedure.
- SSC MTS Paper I: Written Test
- SSC MTS Paper II: Descriptive Test

Paper-1 is an online exam which is objective multiple choice question type.
Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes writing a short essay or letter in English or

The paper pattern for SSC MTS saw a change in the previous year session of the exam.
- The exam consists of two papers i.e. Paper I & Paper 2.
- Paper 1 is conducted online while Paper 2 is pen and paper based.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern For Paper II
SSC MTS Paper-II will be held only for those candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed by the Commission in Paper-I for different categories.
- SSC MTS Paper II will be pen and paper mode paper which will be descriptive in nature.
- The Paper will be set in Hindi, English and in other languages mentioned in the VIIIth Schedule of the Constitution.
- The maximum marks is 50 marks.
- The duration of SSC MTS Paper II is 30 minutes for General Category and 40 minutes for PwD Category of candidates.
